The story goes something like this: We are sitting on the couch looking at the weather forecast for the next week. It’s bleak. Really bleak. We are supposed to go to Desolation Sound but sitting on a motorboat huddled under a canopy in the rain doesn’t really appeal. Within a couple hours we are booked on Allegiant Air, the most ghetto airline, for $500 a head. A $100 a night condo follows quickly and we are set including a $20 / day rental car.
The first couple of days seem a bit unreal including coffee on the beach within 36 hours of sitting in rainy Victoria. But we’re in the swing of things now – Kitesurfing in tropical waters yesterday and swimming with turtles today and a few beers in between.
