Hi family, we love your blog. Big thanks. I hope Thai
And goes well for you.
We are also waiting to get back to our boat in Pittwater , Oz, tickets booked for Feb 16 th. We are back in NZ ( our home ) and like you have a Lagoon ( 2006 ) and have been covid stranded for a year. Here’s hoping.

I have a question please. Is there a specific need / reason you have a GPS puck ( as per your recent videos ). We have an iPad with GPS in it with navionics etc and have managed to just purchase a new chart plotter to instal on return.

Many thanks in advance from Caitlin and Nick SV Mahana

Just a belated wave to you, saw you in Vilanoura, thought she looked a lovely cat. You were on the pontoon behind us next to that other cat then we saw you with mast down, then you vanished!!

Hello from one BCer to another. Greetings from Bangkok. I just started my quarantine about 4 hours ago. It’s all a little Intimidating at the airport but you realize quickly that they are taking the pandemic seriously and that’s part of the reason their numbers are so good. Safe travels.

Super cool Tim! Thanks for the update. We are packed. Just got our (negative!) COVID test results minutes ago. We are leaving on a jet plane…. unless there’s another pandemic or world war haha.

Hi Ben. I’ve never had my temperature taken so many times. The Thai government have a full compliment of military, medical and airport staff on hand to great you. You move methodically from one station to another, always under the watchful eye of someone. The clearing process couldn’t have taken more than 45-60 minutes. A government official with finally escort you to your driver who is waiting to drive you to your hotel. I got checked in through the parkade and was quickly taken to my room where I will reside for the next 2 weeks. After day 11 and passing a second Covid test I’m allowed a 90 minute escape to an exercise area. I’m sure the procedures are similar at all quarantine hotels. I wish you and your family a safe journey. Feel free to reach out when you get settled.

Great News that your returning back to the boat …
I hope you list the intricacies of the journey to get back there . We were planning on buying a boat 2020 ….but CCP virus fixed that in a hurry.
